ABAP in Eclipse Installation Error

I am trying to install ABAP in Eclipse  and getting below error.

does any one any idea how to resolve it.

 

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

  Software being installed: ABAP Development Tools - Core 1.0.2 (com.sap.adt.tools.feature.group 1.0.2)

  Missing requirement: ABAP Development Tools Communication Framework 1.0.2 (com.sap.adt.fwk.ci.feature.group 1.0.2) requires 'org.eclipse.mylyn.commons.feature.group [3.4.3,4.0.0)' but it could not be found

  Cannot satisfy dependency:

    From: ABAP Development Tools - Core 1.0.2 (com.sap.adt.tools.feature.group 1.0.2)

    To: com.sap.adt.fwk.ci.feature.group [1.0.0,2.0.0)

When attempting to create a new ABAP Project in ADT, I get an error at the credentials screen.

 

"Logon to system ERD failed (System "ERD" does not support Eclipse based ABAP Development Tools)"

Perhaps someone can help shed some light on this.  Is there some additional configuration that must be done either on the client or backend?

Status gui, text elements and screens in Abap in Eclipse

Hello everybody,

 

Today i start using AiE, but i see that i can't create status gui, text elements and screens, the only method to achieve this is open sap gui (from eclipse) and create this directly there. I don't know if i am doing something wrong but i can't see how to create this objects in eclipse.

 

Is SAP working to implement this options directly in Eclipse without having to go to sap gui?, if that's right, when are we going to see this options directly in eclipse?.

Configuration SAPGUI/Java for Eclipse

Hi,

 

Mac OS X (Lion), Java GUI 7.30, Eclipse Kepler with ADT. I do have a properly working entry in SAPGUI / Java for my HANA Trial but when I want to connect with Eclipse I have to choose one of the entries in my Java GUI and Eclipse does complain that there is no message server. But for HANA trial I don't need a message server (and - for good reasons - I don't have one ).

 

Why does that work in JAVAGUI and not in Eclipse?

The scenario is as follows . I need to make an application F from 0.

 

 

According to the guide that I attached in the note on page 29 I need to take the second option

 

: 2/ SAP NetWeaver 7.00, 7.01, 7.02 and 7.03/7.31 < SPS04:

 

Please someone with a guide where I explain that if I have that kind of version in the SAP Netweaver Gateway 7.02

ABAP help is not working in Eclipse - activated services

Hi,

 

In some landscapes in our systems integrated help in eclipse is still not working even if docu and toolsdocu services are activated.

 

I read post with similar problem:

I noticed that two services were inactive:

/sap/public/bc/abap/docu

/sap/public/bc/abap/toolsdocu

So I asked related teams to activate services. After it has been done, help is still not working.

 

Error message while pressing F1 is:

     URL http://.../sap/public/bc/abap/docu call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

  

Note

 

     The termination occurred in system D03 with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

     The selected virtual host was 0 . 

 

However I cannot preview service from SICF transaction. When I try to run "Test Link" for docu or toolsdocu I get message:

Service  Cannot Be Accessed !

Message no. SHTTP009

 

Diagnosis

You have not entered a handler, and the other services in the URL also do not have a handler. This means the service cannot be accessed by HTTP request.

 

Procedure

Check whether this is intentional, and if necessary, enter a handler.

 

If I check "Handler List" on /sap/public/bc/abap level, it is empty. However it is empty also for other landscape system where the help is working fine ("Test Link" option is opening website there). Please help. What else should be configured?

I get this error after I worked for a while.

ADT orphaned processes

Hello,

I have been doing some coding work from Eclipse on our development instance, but somehow I get compiler orphaned processes while doing so.

 

Basis just checked the Configuring the ABAP Back-end for ABAP Development Tools guide to be sure. but the orphaned processes still keep happening.

Missing authorization for new project

Hey folks,

 

I have a problem getting started with abap in eclipse.

When I want to start a new project I receive the following message, when trying to connect to the system:

User <user> is not authorized to access system <sid> via ABAP in Eclipse (No authorization to access the resource  /sap/bc/adt/compatibility/graph.)

 

I have the done all the things described in the following blog:

Enabling ABAP in Eclipse

 

Can someone help me?

Code in SQ02 to generate custom serial no

Dear Experts,

 

I am developing a Infoset query using SQ02, where i would like to write a small piece of ABAP code to generate a serial number as described below.

 

AssignmentSerial No to be generated
4200004748000401
4200004748000402
4200004326000201
4800069548000101
4800069548000102
4800069548000103

 

First column data is coming in my output as a result of my query, but i would to see/generate the serial number as same as second column.


Ex: For the first time if the ASSIGNMENT number is coming it should starts with 1 and if the same ASSIGNMENT number (first column value) is repeating in a new row, then the custom serial number to be increased by 1,

 

Please note that Assignment field's field name is ZUONR and Serial No field's field name is ZZEKKN.

Since a few days I'm having issues with my ADT in Eclipse. It has been working without any issue for some months, but now I alway get the following error when I open a SAPgui screen in Eclipse: (for e

I am using SAPGUI 730 sp 6.

I have the problem in the ADT tools for Keppler and Juno.

I just installed an additional Eclipse version for Keppler (eclipse 4.3.2) and the latest versions of the ADT tools for ABAP and HANA. Didn't help me.

I have the problem for all systems that are connected, (731 and 740 systems).

 

Is this a SAPgui issue?
